The Goat Shed, a newly built family-run guesthouse and restaurant, is located in the centre of the village of Deštné v Orlických horách. We have prepared a cosy restaurant for you with the tempting aroma of Czech and Old-Czech cuisine wafting through the beautiful surroundings of the Orlické Mountains. The standard menu of the restaurant has been extended with fresh seasonal specialities and meals, which are always prepared from fresh, high-quality ingredients.

We offer accommodation in stylishly furnished two to four-bed rooms. Your accommodation can be enhanced with varied accompanying activities, which we can arrange depending on your wishes. You can spice up your stay in our guesthouse with wellness services (massages, sauna, aromatic herb baths, whirlpool), adrenalin adventures (rope climbing park, quad bikes, tricycles, roller skis, scooters) as well as gym and table tennis facilities.

The Goat Shed is a guesthouse with a soul, the furnishings and fittings as well as the concept of the whole guesthouse look very comfortable, evoking a homely atmosphere, which is very pleasant indeed, the staff are incredibly friendly and the local cuisine is excellent, I would say the best in the area. It is possible to book a sauna and a hot tub and the rooms are stylish and very nicely furnished. The guesthouse also caters for skiers – there is a ski room available…

I came here with my mum quite by chance. We went to see the spring fair in Deštné and there we heard about the Goat Shed. Friendly staff, excellent food and drink. The car park is right next to the restaurant. I can definitely recommend the place.
